ABOUT ME
Like most of my colleges I also wanted to be a midwife ever since I was a kid. I mean, is there a cooler job than this?
Before I did my midwifery training, I was in South Africa for a while and worked in different volunteer projects. After I graduated as a midwife I worked in Gambia for a year in a little bush hospital. The cultural and medical treasures I could take were many! Back in Switzerland I have worked for 3 years in the Kantonsspital Olten, where 800 babies are born a year. By the end of 2019 I got self-employed and ever since I work in a non-clinical setting. And I love it!
I regularly travel back to my African projects and enjoy the diversity between the two worlds.
